Country Comfort is a series for ages seven above, streaming on Netflix since March 19th, 2021. It is about a young country singer, named Bailey, who earlier was a member of a band with her boyfriend, but then got replaced by a younger singer. she broke up with her boyfriend of 9 years because of this (as she should). After all this, her life feels like a mess. She leaves their apartment and goes on an aimless drive, but during the drive, her car breaks down forcing her to knock on the door of a family that owns the ranch called Harmony Hills.

The ranch is owned by a man named Beau, who has 5 children (Tuck, Brody, Dylan, Cassidy, and Chloe). When Bailey enters the house to seek help, she is bombarded with questions, who assumed her to be their new nanny. Although she constantly denies being one yet the children refuse to listen. She then meets Beau and his girlfriend (Summer)(his wife had passed away, two years ago), and from there on, their adventures begin.

Quite frankly, I liked the show, it was positive and happy. Though sometimes the jokes were not funny and were a bit clichéd, well I guess every bit of satire can’t hit a home run. It’s a good time filler. The show also talks about the emotional trauma that the children go through due to their mother’s untimely demise. People who like shows with a cheerful, joyous and positive vibe, would like it. It does not have that much drama in it, so people who like watching shows with a lot of theatrics, may find it a little boring at some places.
